Oyster Bay Middle/High School

The Business Department offers courses for students in grades 9-12. The courses follow the New York State standards for Career Development and Occupational Studies which consists of the following areas: career development, integrated learning, universal foundation skills, and career majors. The courses offered at the high school level promote these standards through business overviews, marketing, advertising, salesmanship, entrepreneurship, and accounting. In addition, students have the opportunity to receive credit for work experience and job placement in the School Business Partnership program.

The business community leaders serve as advisors, mentors, and guest speakers to the entire department.
